TuTu Tutorial - Altered Clothespins

Altered Clothespins
Designer: Lori Roop, TPE design team

I just love these fun looking, decorated clothespins. I got the idea when I neeeded them for a photo prop. They are SUPER quick and easy to make!! The uses for them are probably endless!

Wooden clothespins, glue, ribbon, glitter, stickers (optional), buttons (optional), magnets (optional), beads (optional)

1. Start with plain clothespins. 2. Cover the front of the clothespin with paper glaze or craft glue.
3. Sprinkle glitter or beads directly onto the applied glue. Shake off excess.
4. Allow to dry for aprox. 10 minutes.
5. Tie ribbon around the clothespin. Add buttons, flowers or stickers. 6. Cut and affix magnet to backs of clothespins if desired. Notice, how I just tied a ribbon on one of them instead of adding glitter. I thought this one would be a good potato chip bag clip.
