Hi Everyone!
Now the carton is ready to be decorated. I punched out some eggs & embossed them with my cuttlebug, cut some strips of green paper then cut the pieces of grass out of it and adhered it all to my carton. Then I tied some ribbons onto the handle and filled the spots that hold the bottles up with Easter grass.
Now it's ready to fill with goodies! I was recently in a swap so I filled my basket with some scrapping goodies & candy & sent it out to a scrapping friend.
This is super easy and really doesn't take much time at all.
It's time again for another fun tutorial! This week, Trudi is going to show us how to make a super fun Easter basket from an ordinary cardboard beverage holder.
Beverage Holder Easter Basket
Designer: Trudi Wilbur, TPE design team
Supplies:
A drink carrier that you can get in a drive through or a carton from bottled beverages
Cardstock/Patterned Paper of your choice

Scissors
Pencil
Ruler
Embellishments of your choice
Easter grass
I really enjoy altering things, so today I'm going to show you how to make an Easter basket using a beverage carton. For my basket I used a Starbucks frappuccino bottle carton.
To cover the carton, I simply measured & cut my pieces of paper then traced & cut anything that needed to be notched or cut out. I then adhered the paper to the carton using a double stick tape. Now the carton is ready to be decorated. Have fun and Happy Easter!

They all are so cute. Good work.
What a cute and clever idea! Thank you for sharing this.
So, so cute!! I must try this! This would make a great centerpiece for the table too!
Great job and great tutorial!
This is so adorable!!
Great idea, this is a fantastic alternative to the wicker baskets, love the way you decorated it and added the goodies. :)

Adorable project! It looks like the perfect basket for a scrapper on Easter.
This is a nice project. I saw it done on the Cuttlebug Challenge back in February by one of their DT members. So cute!
Hi Tammie...It was your niece Amber, wasn't it!! Silly Girl!! LOL!!
What a cute project Trudi! I love this made into an Easter basket.
To clarify...this type of thing (altering Starbucks drink holders) is very popular and can be seen in alot of places on the internet. Not just Cuttlebug Challenge. But...making this into an Easter basket is what makes it very unique.
This is adorable!! I love it! What a great reason for me to go out and buy Frappachino (sp?)!!
