How we do it ~ COPICS

Good morning! We get lots of emails regarding our use of Copics and thought it would be fun to share this little "how-to". We're only focusing on the face and hair today - those are usually the ones that intimidate people the most. One hint is: practice, practice, practice! We each chose one of two of Lori's Lollipops (thanks Lori!), listed the colors we used & a couple tidbits. More information, as well as the whole card, can be found on our blogs!

	Skin: E00, E50, E53 & YR0000 Hair: E29, E37 & E49	ANDREA ~ "I start with the dark colours first and move out with the lighter colours. I use Stampin' Up! Whisper White paper and Memento ink when I'm using rubber or clear stamps. I send it straight through my printer if I am using a digi stamp.
	Skin:E00, E31 & E95 Hair:100, N7 & N4	JONI ~ "I don't own a ton of copics but blending two odd colors gives you really fun results. I also love using my colorless blender for patterns, I've dotted basketball and football images to give it texture, and made stripes, polka dots, and plaid on clothing."
	Skin:E00, E21 & YR00 Hair:E47, E49 & E57	LORi ~ "What kind of paper do I use? Regular Printer Paper!"
	Skin:E50, E51, & R20 Hair:E33, E34, E35 & E37	SHERI ~ "I start from lightest to darkest and keep blending until I reach the desired look. Use a good quality card stock. My favorite is Neenah Classic Crest Solar White which can be found in the DCRU store."
	Skin:E000, E00, E02 & R20 Hair:E31, E34 & E37	SILVIA ~ "I start from lightest to darkest and continue blending using the lightest color from that particular combo. To make your image pop, use C1 marker around the image!"
	Skin:E000, E01, E51 & R81 Hair:Y21, YR21, & YR24	ARIELLE ~ "I put down the darkest colors first and work to the lightest. The paper I'm using right now is the Neenah Solar White. But after seeing what the other ladies use, I may do some experimenting!"
