I came up with a cute little box to hold them!
So, I came up with a tutorial because I knew you would want to know how to make them! And, they are super simple!
You will need:
CS 6 1/2" X 10 3/4"
CS 3" X 5"
Pattern Paper
Pom Pom Trim (or whatever you have)
Score Tool
Large Scallop Punch
Scallop Edge Punch
Sticky Strip
Stamps I used: Bring on the Cake, Build a Cupcake
Ink I used: Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo
Long side- 1 3/4", 4 3/4", 6 1/2", 9 1/2"
Short Side- 1 3/4", 4 3/4"
Fold all the lines so you have crisp edges. Cut off the pieces as shown above. The end on the right is the side with the 1 1/4" edge.
Snip the fold lines up to the other fold line as shown above.
Fold up the sides and adhere with sticky strip.
Once you have folded the sides up, this is what it will look like.
Score your smaller piece of CS at 1" and 4 ". Make some tick marks to show the middle points so you can line up your punch.
Using the large Scallop Circle Punch, punch out a center circle.
Fold the sides down so that it looks like a little table. place Sticky Strip on the side pieces.
Slide it down into your box.
Cut a piece of DSP 2 7/8" X 2 7/8". Also, cut two pieces of DSP 3"X 1". Scallop on long side of the two smaller pieces and fold in half.
Adhere your smaller pieces to the inside of the lid. These will be hanging over the edge when the box is closed. Adhere the other piece on top of these to make the inside look pretty. I also stamped a sentiment, punched it out and placed it here.
Decorate the outside with DSP. I also placed a scalloped piece on the bottom edge of the lid. I also place this fun pom pom trim to cover up the edge.
Decorate your lid! Tie a ribbon around the box to keep it closed. You could also use Velcro or a glue dot here if you didn't want to use ribbon.
And there you have it! The possibilities are endless! There are many choices when it comes to the candles. You could decorate your box according to the candle's flavor. I thought these would make nice coworker gifts, party favors, or maybe even hold a small cupcake!

You do know, it is not safe to light a candle inside the paperbox? I think you should have mentioned that, it's relevant.
