Project Thursday: Paper Easter Banner

Happy Spring!

Easter is just around the corner.  Today's project is a little Paper Banner to brighten up your mantle, entry way or window.

It's made from an assortment of Bright Spring colored Cardstock and a few ribbon trims.

The individual triangle shaped flags measure 5 1/2" across the top and are 6" high.

A few basic punches (hearts and circles) were used to create the embellishments, along with free hand cut shapes.
Chick:  The feet are made with a small heart punch. The wings are a punched heart punch cut in half and the eyes are accented with black brads.
Polka Dot Egg:  1" circles punched form assorted color cardstock are scattered randomly.
Carrot:   The green top is made from thin strips of cardstock folded accordion style.
Striped Egg:  I used a border punch and circle punch (cut in half), along with free hand cut zig zags  and stripes.  A few "stitch" lines marked with a white pen add more details.
Bunny:  His eyes are made with circle punches and the remaining pieces are all free hand cut.

Together they make a Cheery collection of Easter characters that is sure to put a smile on your face.

Thanks for reading along...
